Preliminary preparation: the cucumbers are peeled and grated (if desired, they can be cut into small cubes), the dill is finely chopped, the garlic is crushed or pressed.
In a large pot or casserole put the ingredients: yoghurt, cucumbers, dill, salt and garlic.
Mix very well before adding the oil. Stir well again.

If you want you can sprinkle with some chopped walnuts.
