Good morning, chefs!
Today I will show you a recipe that my husband prepared – POLENTA WITH BACON AND CHEESE. He is a big fan of polenta and often makes it at home, and I play the role of an assistant – from time to time I replace him in the stirring and carry out orders :).
Here is our typical Bulgarian polenta – with a lot of butter and extras 🙂 Enjoy! Try it! 🙂
НЕОБХОДИМИ ПРОДУКТИ:
НАЧИН НА ПРИГОТВЯНЕ:
Boil the water on the stove together with the salt.
Pour the corn flour in a thin stream while stirring. This stage is important so that no lumps are formed in the mixture, it should be fine and smooth.
Stir the mixture over medium-low heat until it thickens. This takes about 25 minutes.
Time is not as important as constant stirring and checking the readiness of the polenta from time to time. Just stir and taste.
Once the polenta is cooked, pour it into a large pan.
Flatten.
Melt the butter.
Pour over the polenta.
Stir lightly with a fork so that the butter can get inside the polenta.
Sprinkle with crushed feta cheese.
Sprinkle with the cracklings (you can prepare them yourself by frying small pieces of pork or bacon in a skillet).
Optionally sprinkle with a little paprika.
Serve the polenta while it is still warm, but even after it cools down, it is also very tasty!
Enjoy! 🙂
Щом аз мога, значи и вие можете!
Добър апетит!
