Incredibly delicious burger loaves of bread!
In fact, they couldn’t become burgers at all because they disappeared while were still warm, shortly after leaving the oven.
Watch the video we created and we will be glad to subscribe to our homepage with youtube “Home cooking with Annie and Jeff“.
I borrowed the recipe from Mimi Georgieva at Facebook culinary group “I love to cook”.
Here it is step by step:
INGREDIENTS:
DIRECTIONS:
In the bowl add the warm milk with the sugar.
Crush the yeast.
Add about 4-5 tbsp. of flour and mix well until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Leave it in a warm place for about 15 minutes until the mixture gets a "hat" and doubles its volume.
Add salt to the mixture.
Add the sunflower oil.
Add warm water as well.
Add the soft butter, stirring all the ingredients well.
Start adding a bit by bit of the flour sifting it.
Once the mixture becomes difficult to mix with a spoon, put it on a sprinkled with flour countertop. Keep adding a little flour until a nice soft dough begins to form.
Knead the dough well until a nice ball is obtained.
Put it in a sprinkled with flour bowl, cover it with a cloth and leave it in a warm place until it doubles or triples its volume.
Shape balls with the size of a small orange. If you want them to be equal in size, you can measure the balls of dough with a kitchen scale. Put them in a baking tray that has been pre-covered with baking paper.
Allow them "rest" in the tray for about 15 minutes. Then smear the balls with a beaten egg with butter and milk.
Bake in a preheated oven at 190 degrees for about 20 minutes, or until a nice golden. Enjoy! 🙂
If I can do it, so can you!
Bon appetit!
