The other day I felt like eating something sweet, and I grabbed from the store a box of butter cookies sprinkled with powdered sugar and filled with jam. I knew it wouldn’t be what I expected, but honestly, I wasn’t prepared for such a big disappointment. I tried one and here they are – the still stand in the box on the kitchen counter.
And I did it myself. I used the idea for a recipe for “Quick cookies with jam” from the culinary youtube channel Moi Domashni Decepti. They became extremely tasty and reminded me so much of sweets from the time when I was a child.
There is no special time to prepare something delicious. And why isn’t this the time for these butter cookies?
Here is the recipe:

НАЧИН НА ПРИГОТВЯНЕ:
Put the soft butter in a bowl. Add the yogurt and vanilla sugar.
Add the sifted flour. Stir until a ball forms.
Pour the shaped ball on a floured surface.
Knead the dough until the flour is absorbed.
Roll out into a thin crust. If necessary, flour the plot.
A crust measuring about 40 by 40 cm is obtained.
Using a sharp knife or pizza knife, cut approximately equal horizontal strips.
6 strips with a width of about 7 cm are obtained.
In the middle of the strip put the selected jam. I chose plum jam, which I lightly mashed to get a thick consistency.
For the second part of the butter cookies I used fig jam.
Now comes the most precise part. Don't worry, it's not difficult at all. 🙂
Carefully grasp both edges of the strip and pinch them over the marmalade. A thin and long roll is obtained.
Turn the roll upside down.
Cut the roll into pieces about 4-5 cm long.
Arrange the butter cookies in a tray covered with baking paper.
Bake the butter cookies at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes, until slightly pink.
Meanwhile, prepare the powdered sugar by mixing it with the vanilla powder.
While still hot, roll the butter cookies in the powdered sugar.
Arrange the sweets on a plate or tray of your choice.
The next day they are even tastier!
