It’s time for something sweet. I was wondering, wondering… and I recalled of some sweets that are easy to prepare and delicious. I rolled up my sleeves and here is the result – Cracked cocoa sweets.
Thanks to the internet site rozali.com for the amazing recipe I used with slight changes.
Have a nice and delicious day everyone!
INGREDIENTS:
DIRECTIONS:
Put the sugar and the eggs in a large bowl.
Beat the eggs and sugar with a mixer well.
Add the oil to a thin stream while you continue beating.
A fine, smooth mixture is obtained.
In a separate bowl, sift the flour together with the cocoa, the baking powder, the salt and the vanilla.
Add the dry ingredients gradually to the egg mixture and mix with a spatula.
The mixture becomes more dense.
After adding all the flour, you get a firm dough.
Important! Leave the mixture in the fridge covered with fresh storage foil for about 1 hour. This will help the dough to be easier to handle with your hands.
Pour the powder sugar into a bowl or a deeper plate. Take a piece of the dough, make balls as small as a nut and place with the icing sugar.
Roll the cocoa balls into the powder sugar, making sure the balls are everywhere covered with sugar.
Place the balls in a baking tray covered with baking paper. I use Teflon bedding.
Bake for about 15 minutes at 180 degrees. Do not overbake as the sweets become drier.
Here they are our ready-made cracked cocoa sweets. Eat warm or cool. They are certainly delicious! 🙂
If I can do it, so can you!
Bon appetit!
