Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate! And on top of it – more chocolate! And cream! 🙂 Total temptation!
I prepared it for the birthday of my precious colleague Polly, because we all know what sweets she likes – chocolate, of course!

НАЧИН НА ПРИГОТВЯНЕ:
Sift the flour into a bowl. Add the baking powder.
Add the sifted cocoa powder.
Whisk well.
Put the soft butter in a bowl. You can heat it briefly in the microwave, but be careful not to melt it.
Add the sugar.
stir with a wooden spoon.
You should get a fine cream.
Add the vanilla extract and stir.
Add the eggs one by one.
Stir well. Add the next egg after you have incorporated well the previous one.
You should get a smooth paste batter. If the butter is in small lumps, this should not bother you.
Start adding the cocoa-flour mixture.
Stir until the flour is completely absorbed and a nice thick cake batter is obtained.
Add the crushed chocolate. I used a mixture of milk and dark chocolate.
Stir well.
Pour into a rectangular loaf baking pan covered with baking paper.
Bake in a preheated oven at about 175 degrees (without a fan) for about 50 minutes.
To make sure the cake is baked, check with a wooden skewer or a toothpick.
Set aside until cool. After about 15 minutes, remove from the pan and the paper so that it does not get "sweat" when it cools down.
Put the cream in a bowl. Briefly heat it in the microwave, being careful not to bring it to a boil.
Remove the bowl and add the crushed chocolate.
Leave for about 2-3 minutes to melt the chocolate and then stir with a whisk until all pieces of chocolate disappear.
Place the cake in a large plate or a pan and spread the icing on top.
Let it cool. The glaze remains soft and can be cut freely.
Once the cake has cooled completely, serve in an big plate and cut into slices.
