It’s not just a garnish, it’s a symphony of tastes and satisfaction of senses! 🙂
It goes sooooooo well with many different dishes: Wine pork kebap, Oven baked salmon trout, Chicken breast steak with sausage, Chicken meatballs with cheese, Boiled egg meatballs, Beef rolls, Chicken cotelettes with sour cream cheese.
You should try it, it has nothing to do with mashed potatoes you know!
Have a nice and delicious day!
Here’s the recipe!
INGREDIENTS:
DIRECTIONS:
Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into large cubes and place them in salted water on the heat.
Cook the potatoes until ready.
Put the potatoes in the potato press.
If you do not have a potato press, just mash the potatoes well with a fork or a potato grinder.
It is good to mash the potatoes while they are still warm to absorb the spices.
Cut the butter into small cubes and stir to let it melt by the heat of the potatoes.
Add the liquid cream and stir until it is absorbed.
Add the warm milk.
Mix well with a wire whisk. Don't worry that mashed potatoes look relatively liquid at this stage. After about 1 hour the mixture will thicken and will get the nice fluffiness of the perfect puree. Sprinkle with a pinch of pepper if desired.
Serve mashed potatoes as a garnish to whatever you want - steaks, meatballs, fish or wine meat kebab. Bon apetit!
If I can do it, so can you!
Bon appetit!
