There is much to say about French fries. They have really grown into an entire institution. But you can also just keep quiet and eat.
Here’s how to prepare them at home;)

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into relatively identical pieces. This will help them fry equally.
Place the potatoes on a cloth (non-moss) to soak the moisture of the potatoes. This way they will not frizz when you put them in the hot oil.
In a deep casserole or a pan, pour the oil and place it on the stove. Put 1-2 potatoes to check if the oil is hot enough. If there are no bubbles around the potatoes, the oil is hot enough for frying.
Put potatoes so that the oil covers them completely. Mix with a lattice spoon right from the start. This will help the oil embrace all the potatoes so they don't stick together.
Let the potatoes fry in the hot oil, not stirring until they get golden brown.
Remove the potatoes with a lattice spoon in a bowl. Now is the time to add salt.
Delicious, right? 🙂
