Improvisation with chicken, zucchini, sour cream and mayonnaise

For chicken and zucchini lovers today I offer a quick and fresh cooking idea. Simply arrange everything and bake! And the sauce is simply indescribable.

 600 g chicken meat (boned chicken legs or chicken breast)
 2 medium-sized tomatoes
 2 medium-sized zucchini
 salt to taste
 black pepper
 150 g gouda or another type of yellow cheese
Ingredients for the sauce:
 250 g sour cream
 200 g yoghurt
 200 g mayonnaise
 2 garlic cloves, pressed, mashed or finely chopped
 2 tbsp. finely chopped fresh dill
 ½ tsp. salt

First you need to prepare the sauce with sour cream and mayonnaise.
Add all the ingredients for the sauce and mix well until a homogeneous mixture.

Start arranging the dish in the pan.
Arrange half of the meat at the bottom. If you use chicken leg steaks, arrange them as they are. If they happen to be thicker in some spots, you can make them thinner only in those spots to get even layer.

Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Cut the zucchini into slices without peeling them.
Arrange a compact second layer after the meat.

Pour about half of the sauce.

Spread evenly.

Cut the first tomato into thin slices. If desired, you can peel it.

Then repeat what you have already done - alternate another layer of chicken, seasoning with salt and pepper, zucchini on slices, sauce, tomatoes on slices.

Cover the baking pan with aluminum foil and place in the oven.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees with a fan for about 20 minutes.

Remove the aluminum foil and bake for another 20 minutes at 190 degrees with a fan.

Remove the pan and grate the yellow cheese on top.

Return it in the oven and bake for another 10-15 minutes until the cheese gets a nice golden tan.
