Langidi – quick breakfast, recipe from grandmother Elenka

Good Saturday morning!

Let’s have breakfast 🙂

Today I suggest you to prepare a quick and delicious breakfast. The recipe is from a long time ago, from my grandmother. The same grandmother Elenka from the village of Vardim, Svishtov region, who also made the Walnut buns that I showed you some time ago.

Come on, roll up your sleeves and enjoy these LANGIDI. I still dodn’t understand where this name came from and why they were called that way. My personal explanation is that they look like small tongues and come from the word langue (French) or lingua (Latin). This is hardly true, but the important thing in this case is that they are very tasty and are prepared very easily and quickly.

Here is the recipe. Try it!
