When one has minced meat in the fridge but does not want to prepare the traditional meatballs, such small, similar to mini pizzas minced meat packets come to his mind.
Enjoy! 🙂
INGREDIENTS:
DIRECTIONS:
Put the warm milk, the sugar, the dry yeast and 3 tablespoons of flour in the bowl for mixing the dough ingredients. Stir well.
Let the mixture "rest" for about 15 minutes until it gets a "hat".
Add the salt and the warm water (not hot, but with nice body temperature) to the yeast mixture.
Add the oil, too.
Start stirring. I used the kneading hook of the kitchen robot.
Once all the ingredients are well mixed, start adding from the flour until a nice soft dough forms.
If necessary, remove it from the bowl and knead it on a sprinkle with flour table or counter.
Let the dough rise until it doubles in volume.
While the dough is rising, you can prepare the filling. It is very easy. Put the mince meat with all the dry spices in the bowl.
Add the egg, too.
Mix well, cover with household foil and let it rest in a cool place.
Take the dough and knead it on a sprinkled with flour counter until it gets a ball shape.
Start rolling it with a rolling pin.
You need to get a rectangle about 0.5 cm thick.
With a pizza knife or other sharp knife, cut the dough into squares. The squares can be the size of your choice. But if you want mini packets, make them smaller, about 7-8 cm wide.
Place about 1 tsp of tomato paste on each square, leaving unspread about 2 cm from the edges.
Spread about 1 tbsp of the mince.
Put a slice of emmental on top.
Raise the edges and squeeze the corners to form a small packet.
Arrange the mini pizzas in a baking tray covered with baking paper or a Teflon pad.
If desired, sprinkle 1 pinch of dried oregano on top.
Bake at 200 degrees for about 15 minutes until ready.
Don't let them cool down! 😉
Enjoy! 🙂
If I can do it, so can you!
Bon appetit!
