Today I am going to present you a simple rural recipe – OVEN BAKED CHICKEN WITH POTATOES AND PEAS.
But as we all already know, the simpler and more rural a recipe is, the more delicious it is. And we remember our beloved ones who have prepared for us our favourites dishes…
Enjoy! 🙂

НАЧИН НА ПРИГОТВЯНЕ:
Prepare a deep casserole and heat the sunflower oil in it. Add the chicken legs and fry them in the hot grease well from all sides.
Add the chopped onions, the sliced carrots, and the diced potatoes (about 2-2.5 cm in size). Stir well and allow vegetables to simmer for about 5-10 minutes.
Add the spices - the salt, the savory, the red pepper powder, the onion powder and the garlic powder.
Stir everything very well for about 2-3 minutes. Stir regularly to keep the red pepper powder from burning.
Now it's time to add the flour. Stir well for about 1-2 minutes to cook it.
Add about 1.5 liters of hot water. Stir well.
You can also optionally add a little tomato paste or half a can of peeled and diced tomatoes.
Pour the semi-finished dish into a wide and deep baking pan.
Add the drained peas. If you like the peas water in the can, you can also pour it.
Cut the garlic into small pieces and add it.
The water of the dish should cover well all the vegetables and almost all the meat. Add more warm water if necessary.
Place the dish in the oven and cook over medium temperature (about 180 degrees) for another 20 minutes. The meat and potatoes should be cooked completely, and the sauce should be thickened.
Serve the dish with a sprinkled finely chopped parsley.
Enjoy! 🙂
