It is winter and we can’t help but cook cabbage, especially with pork. Classic and favorite recipe! Super delicious!
Here’s how I prepared it:
НЕОБХОДИМИ ПРОДУКТИ:
НАЧИН НА ПРИГОТВЯНЕ:
First start cooking the meat.
Cut it into pieces no larger than 5-6 cm and place it in a saucepan with about 500-600 ml of water and 1 tsp. of salt or universal spice. Cook for about 30 minutes until the meat is tender.
Meanwhile, chop the cabbage.
Sprinkle with about 1-2 tsp. of salt and mash the cabbage with your hands.
Thus, it gets a smaller volume and takes up less space, becomes easier to place in the cooking pot and cooks faster.
Grate the carrot and mix it with the cabbage.
Choose a larger round or rectangular pan and line half of the cabbage mixed with carrots.
Arrange the cooked pieces of meat on top.
Sprinkle with 1 tsp. of red pepper powder and half of the canned tomatoes.
Cover with the other half of the cabbage.
Sprinkle again with 1 tsp. of red pepper powder and the left tomatoes.
Insert the bay leaves here and cover them in the cabbage.
Pour about 500-600 ml of liquid - I used the broth from the cooked meat, adding a little more water.
Bake the cabbage in a preheated 200 degree oven without a fan for about 1 hour until the cabbage is soft and the meat is fully cooked.
Stir periodically so that the cabbage does not burn on the surface.
Serve and sprinkle with finely chopped fresh parsley.
Enjoy! 🙂
Щом аз мога, значи и вие можете!
Добър апетит!
