I have not probably invented the hydraulic system, as we say in Bulgarian, but I decided to combine our familiar pudding custard with sour cream. A surprisingly good combination! I will continue with the experiments… 😉
НЕОБХОДИМИ ПРОДУКТИ:
НАЧИН НА ПРИГОТВЯНЕ:
Prepare the pudding cream according to the instructions on the package.
Pour the pudding powder into a bowl. Add the sugar to it.
Add about 10 tablespoons of cold milk.
Mix well with a whisk...
...until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.
Put the remaining milk in a saucepan on the stove and heat.
When almost boiled, add gradually to the starch mixture.
Stir well to get all products dissolved in the milk.
Return to the saucepan on the stove and stir gently until the cream thickens.
Add the butter. Stir until the butter melts into the cream.
Now add the sour cream and stir until it gets absorbed by the cream.
Prepare the bowls in which you will pour the cream. Be sure to pre-wet them with cold water. Throw up the extra water drops.
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
If desired, you can serve the cream by turning it in a plate and serving with your favorite jam. I served it with my mom's homemade apple jam.
