НАЧИН НА ПРИГОТВЯНЕ:
First you need to melt the butter and chocolate. You can do it in a water bath (bain-marie), but I chose the easiest way for me - in the microwave. If you decide to do it in a water bath, be sure to use a fireproof bowl. 😉
If you prefer to use my method, take a plastic or glass bowl and cut the butter into cubes. Place the bowl in the microwave until the butter is completely melted.
Add the crushed chocolate in cubes.
Stir until the chocolate is completely melted.
Add the sugar. Stir until it is absorbed by the liquid. It is not a problem if small crystals remain. That's why I use fine crystal sugar, because ordinary sugar crystals are often quite large and don't melt well.
Add the eggs one at a time, whisking after each until it is absorbed by the mixture.
Add salt and vanilla extract. Whisk.
Add the sifted cocoa. Whisk.
Add the paint and whisk again until completely absorbed by the mixture.
I used confectionery paint in the form of a gel, which I dissolved in 1 tbsp. of water. Before pouring it into the mixture, I strained it to make sure there were no lumps left.
You need to add your paint according to its instructions, described on the package.
If you decide that the paint is not enough, you can add more.
Add the vinegar and whisk.
Add the sifted flour.
Stir until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
Set 3-4 tablespoons of the mixture aside in a bowl.
Cream cheese should be at room temperature.
Add it to the bowl along with all the other ingredients for the cream cheese mixture.
Beat with a mixer for a few minutes until all the ingredients are mixed.
Prepare a rectangular tray (20 cm).
Place parchment paper on the bottom and walls.
Since I didn't have such a small square baking pan, I used a round ceramic pan with a diameter of about 20 cm. I greased it with butter and sprinkled with flour, removing the excess.
Pour the red mixture into the baking pan.
Take with a spoon from the white mixture and place over the red.
Spread white mixture over the red, stacking it in several piles.
Take the red mixture previously separated and set aside. Put about 1/2 tbsp. on each pile.
Try to distribute the red mixture relatively evenly over the white one.
Take a wooden skewer and make patterns with circular movements down to the bottom of the pan.
You don't have to make a lot of circular movements- just enough to mix it lightly.
Place the brownie pan in a preheated oven at 180 degrees without a fan and bake for about 30 minutes. Check the readiness of the brownie with a toothpick or wooden skewer. The white mixture may look raw, but actually it's not.
Since I baked the brownie in a glazed ceramic dish, it took me longer time to bake - about 45 minutes.
If you want to serve the heart-shaped brownie, it is good to have such a cookie cutter. If you do not have one, you can cut a heart out of paper, place it on top and use a sharp knife to cut the shape around its edge.
Of course, you can just cut the brownie into another, well-known shape - a square, triangle (like a cake) or a rhomb.
Place the heart in the center of the plate.
Optionally, you can serve with a ball of vanilla ice-cream. The combination is truly divine, believe me!
On top you can sprinkle some crumbs of the brownie pieces remained after cutting out the heart. Optionally, you can sprinkle chocolate shavings (white or black) or anything else to your taste.
Here is our heart - beautiful, but most of all incredibly delicious!
Taste it and have fun! 🙂
Happy Valentine's Day!
