One of my favorite dishes are those that, even if cooked for a long time, do not take much time to prepare in advance – put in the pan or saucepan and forget until it starts to smell delicious all over the house.
Well, this is one of them. Look and have fun! 🙂

Take the meat and clean it of excess fat and veins. If necessary, cut it lengthwise to get thinner pieces, more convenient for baking.
Season the meat with salt and pepper.
Rub the remaining spices well into the meat. You can use other spices to your taste.
Take a large pan and add the fat. Heat the pan over medium heat and place the meat in it. "Seal" well from all sides, being careful not to burn.
Gently turn the meat on all sides to "seal" the juices inside.
In a bowl, chop the vegetables in bulk. Season with spices and fat.
Do you remember the pan where we "sealed" the meat? The tastiest sauce remained there. We will not throw it away, of course!
Put the pan back on the stove and add about 1 cup water. Heat the liquid and with a wooden spoon lightly scrape off the remainders of fried meat from the bottom.
Arrange the meat and vegetables in a large baking tray. Then add the delicious sauce you got from the pan.
Cover the tray with aluminum foil.
Place it in a preheated oven at about 160-170 degrees.
Bake the dish for about 1 hour or as long as the meat is fully cooked.
Then remove the aluminum foil and bake for another 15 minutes at 190-200 degrees so that the meat gets a nice golden crust.
Now it's time to use the sauce left in the baking tray.
Once the mixture has cooled slightly, strain it and transfer to a small saucepan. Add the starch.
Stir with a whisk until the starch dissolves. Put the casserole on the stove and after it boils, stir for about 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Now add the cream. Stir gently and the sauce is ready. Tasty and creamy!
Remove the meat and vegetables from the tray and serve in a large plate.
Then cut the meat into slices and serve on a plate together with the vegetables.
Drizzle with the sauce!
Enjoy! 🙂
Щом аз мога, значи и вие можете!
Добър апетит!
