Hello my dear friends,
today I am going to present you a quick but delicious dish – Roasted pot with cauliflower. Of course, there are many other things along with cauliflower, such as cream, cheese and olives, but this is quite the way things should be. Even for more taste, you can add small pieces of bacon, as I did. Which in no way prevents this wonderful dish from staying low carb.
Enjoy! 🙂
INGREDIENTS:
DIRECTIONS:
Clean the cauliflower from the leaves and rinse it thoroughly. Cut it into small roses and arrange them evenly in a greased baking pan. In my opinion, roasting cauliflower gives it a much better taste than boiling it. And you wash one pot less. 😉
Once the cauliflower has a golden color, you can place the pieces of bacon on top of the roses and bake again for about 5 minutes. Of course, if you want a vegetarian recipe, you can skip this step.
While the cauliflower is baking, start preparing the topping. Put the eggs, the yoghurt and the cream in a bowl.
Sift the baking powder and add it to the mixture. Add the spices, too. Stir.
Cut the olives into rings and add them.
Season with black pepper and salt.
Add grated cheese and stirr.
Pour the mixture on top of the baked cauliflower.
Bake in a moderate oven for about 15 minutes, until the surface is golden brown.
The dish is delicious both warm and cool! Enjoy! 🙂
If I can do it, so can you!
Bon appetit!
