Turning the pages of my notebook with recipes I found something that my grandmother did – small stumps cookies. I can still feel their taste from that times. I’m also glad I found powder milk in the supermarket next to us. Otherwise, this recipe was impossible to prepare (or at least I do not know a product I could replace the powder milk with). They did not turn out so beautiful, but they were very delicious. Next time I prepare them, I will put more efforts in the presentation 🙂
INGREDIENTS:
DIRECTIONS:
Blend the biscuits with a blender and mix them with the sugar and the cocoa.
Add 1 cup of hot water. Mix to make a dough.
In a bowl mix all the cream ingredients with a mixer.
Form a thick layer of the biscuit mixture (not more than 0.5 cm) onto a fresh storage foil.
On the cocoa layer spread on it a thin layer the white cream.
Carefully roll the layer and wrap it in the foil. Optionally you can sprinkle with coconut shreds before wrapping it into the foil.
Put the roll in a refrigerator for at least 2 hours to cool and tighten.
Cut the roll into slices before serving.
If I can do it, so can you!
Bon appetit!
