Like every responsible mother, I always buy fruits for my daughter so that she can build immunity and get extra vitamins. And like any child, she doesn’t eat them… So I decided to change the look of the few withered small oranges, which were laying bored in the basket on the kitchen counter.
And here’s what the final result is! 🙂 Sunny beauty!
You can also prepare this recipe not in small cups, but in baking cake mold and after it hardens, turn it upside down onto a tray like a cake! It will be even more beautiful! 🙂
Try it for yourself! Here is the recipe:

Important clarification!
To prepare this recipe, you need to cook both creams at the same time, so prepare two pots or smaller casseroles, and you need to have two hot plates. 😉
Pour the orange juice and milk in both pans.
Add sugar to each mixture.
Add the cornstarch to both mixtures.
Add the vanilla to the milk mixture.
Stir both mixtures until homogeneous.
Put both mixtures on the stove over medium heat. Once warmed, reduce to low heat and stir both at the same time.
It will take about 5-10 minutes for the creams to thicken.
While still warm, add the butter to the white cream and stir until melted and absorbed.
Choose fireproof bowls of your choice. I used the caramel custard cups.
It is important to start pouring the cream into the bowls while it is still warm, because it quickly starts to thicken and it will be more difficult to arrange the layers.
Put a spoon in each cream and start pouring from it. First of the yellow mixture about 1-2 tablespoons until the bottom is covered.
Pour another 2 tbsp. of white cream.
So alternate the two creams until you fill the bowl.
From this quantity I filled 6 cups.
Put them in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours until completely firm.
When serving, you can turn the cream upside down in a suitable dish.
Serve with decoration of your choice.
Enjoy! 🙂
