These days I remembered cookies that my grandmother Elenka used to prepare (my mother’s mother from the village of Vardim, Svishtov region). She prepared them quickly, somehow by the way, and like any housewife at that time, all measures were approximate. Even the units in the recipe I wrote down in the old notebook were in yogurt jars 🙂 Obviously the ratio of the ingredients is what matters.
With this quantity of ingredients you can make a lot of buns, so if you want you can try half a dose. An old and delicious recipe! Enjoy!

НАЧИН НА ПРИГОТВЯНЕ:
Put the sugar in a bowl. Add the baking soda to the glass of yoghurt and wait a few minutes for it to bubble. Then pour in the sugar.
Add the oil and stir.
Start adding the flour along with the vanilla powder, sifting them.
Stir until soft dough.
Grind the walnuts rough;y.
From the dough, make balls with the size of a ping pong ball. Roll in the walnuts well.
Arrange the balls in a tray covered with parchment paper.
Bake for about 15 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 degrees.
They are delicious and warm and after cooling.
At home we love them the most with milk.
Enjoy! 🙂
