Bread!!! And not an ordinary one, but with whole grains! Some time ago I saw Jamie Oliver preparing oat grains bread and I decided to make an experiment with this. Well, I really nailed it! One of them is with white and the other one is wholegrain flour. Nothing smells as tasty and cozy as freshly baked bread.
Enjoy your meal!
INGREDIENTS:
DIRECTIONS:
In a bowl mix the warm milk (with body temperature) with the yeast, the sugar and the white flour until a thick mixture is obtained. Let it rise almost double until it makes a "hat".
Add all other ingredients – the whole grains, the warm water, the salt and the butter.
I divided the mixture into two equal parts, adding to one of them white flour to obtain a soft dough. I did the same with the second mixture, to which I added wholegrain flour.
I allowed both mixture rise for about 1 hour until they doubled their volume.
Then knead the dough again a little just to make the desired form of the bread and to put it in the baking pan/baking pans.
The dough rises again until it doubleand is baked at 180-190 degrees.
Before baking the ready loaf of bread can be sprinkled with more flour and cut diagonally with a sharp knife to get a better look.
These ingredients give you 2 large loaves or 3-4 smaller ones, so you can just make half the quantity by putting only 1 sachet of yeast of 7 grams.
If I can do it, so can you!
Bon appetit!
